Serena Agrawal joined UCLA TDG as an Innovation Fund Fellow in 2024. She is currently an MBA candidate at UCLA Anderson School of Management with a specialization in healthcare. Prior to joining TDG, Serena held various R&D engineering positions at Becton Dickinson where she designed and launched medical devices such as Snowden Pencer laparoscopic surgical tools, PureWick Urine Collection System, Nexiva NearPort IV catheter, and Alaris IV Infusion systems. She has filed 24 patent applications for a variety of medical innovations over her career. Serena earned her B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with focus in Engineering Design & Global Health from Rice University.
