Juntao Yu

I’m Juntao Yu, an accomplished biologist with a Ph.D. in Medicine from Peking University and currently enrolling a Master of Engineering program from UCLA. Currently an Advisor at Glyco-Therapy Biotech, I oversee quality control, audits technical systems, and provides regulatory strategies across multiple regions, including the US, Europe, and China. I have held leadership roles in biotechnology, notably as the Head of Biology R&D at Starna Therapeutics, where she led the strategic evaluation of mRNA targets and successfully advanced pre-clinical candidates, including those for respiratory diseases, to FDA IND clearance. My expertise spans immune modulation, nephrology, respiratory diseases, and oncology, with extensive experience in both research and project management. Prior to this, I served as a Senior Scientist at Kintor Pharmaceuticals, driving antibody drug discovery and pipeline development in oncology. My work has resulted in multiple patents, scientific publications, and recognition for my leadership in drug development and biotech integration.
