Jessica Richter
Jessica Richter is a strategic MedTech leader with more than 20 years of experience spanning the full post-engineering product lifecycle; from regulatory, clinical, and evidence generation strategy to commercialization and operations. Known for simplifying complexity and aligning teams around execution, she brings both strategic vision and practical insight to every engagement. As Founder of Richter Advisory Collective, Jessica partners with MedTech innovators as a trusted thought partner, sounding board, and force multiplier for leadership teams. She helps founders ask the right questions, make smarter decisions, and move faster with clarity and confidence; drawing on deep industry expertise, commercial acumen, and an extensive global network to accelerate growth and bring meaningful solutions to patients sooner.
Previously, Jessica served as Executive Vice President and General Manager at Veranex, where she led a 400+ person global contract research organization spanning regulatory, quality, clinical, and commercial programs. Earlier roles at Medtronic, Covidien, Given Imaging, and BD further developed her expertise in commercialization, physician engagement, patient advocacy, and operational transformation. Her domain experience spans software as a medical device (SaMD), surgical innovation, oncology, aesthetics, cardiology, women’s health, pediatrics, and gastroenterology.
Committed to advancing the field, Jessica serves on the boards of MedtechWOMEN and UCLA’s Technology Development Group and mentors early-stage companies through programs including MedTech Innovator, Stanford Biodesign, UC Berkeley’s Master of Translational Medicine (MTM), and UCLA Biodesign.
Jessica holds a bachelor’s degree in Communications from the University of California, Berkeley.
