Sepsis is the body's extreme response to an infection that triggers a chain reaction that could result in death. Based on UCLA research from the DiCarlo Lab, a test has been developed that helps the early detection of sepsis. The FDA has granted clearance to the IntelliSep test that can provide results in approximately 10 minutes which will help determine patient care.
