Join UCLA TDG's Research & Industry Alliances (RIA) team for a dynamic new series of monthly, topic-focused training seminars, held 10–11 a.m. on the last Thursday of every month. 

These sessions are designed to equip faculty, staff, and research administrators with clear, practical guidance for navigating UCLA’s research processes, agreements, and compliance requirements. Each seminar focuses on a single, high-impact topic—offering expert insights, step-by-step explanations, and real-world examples from the teams that support UCLA’s research enterprise every day.

January: DIY MTA – Learn when and how to prepare your own Material Transfer Agreements.

February: IDC & Overhead Waivers for Industry Sponsored Research: Clarifying applicable indirect costs and the overhead waiver process for SRAs.
