Ian Bai

Ian Bai is a second-year MBA student at UCLA Anderson School of Management. Before MBA, lan spent 2 years at Deloitte advising private equity clients through M&A due diligence and guiding corporate investors' entry into the China market, with a primary focus on the TMT sector. Ian then worked as a Strategy Manager at Tencent, the leading Chinese technology company, for another 3 years.

Alexander Wasdahl

Alex is a fifth year PhD candidate in the Information Studies department at UCLA. He is interested in the intersection of automation and media, and he is currently writing his dissertation on the production and consumption of automated journalism. Originally from northeast Ohio, Alex received a B.A. in Government from Dartmouth College in 2016. Before coming to UCLA for graduate school, Alex worked as a software consultant in the Washington, D.C. area. He has also done internships in business analytics and telecommunications research.

Kshitija Shah

Kshitija Shah is a Ph.D. candidate in Civil and Environmental Engineering at UCLA. Her thesis work focuses on developing novel technologies for energy positive wastewater treatment & resource recovery, and the biological transformation of toxic environmental pollutants into less toxic compounds. Kshitija is interested in sustainability, entrepreneurship, and science communication and in her leisure time, enjoys creating science social media content, board games, and reading at a cafe.

Yuqian Ye

Yuqian Ye

Eunice (Yuqian) Ye is currently a New Ventures Fellow at UCLA Technology Development Group. She is pursuing an MBA at UCLA Anderson School of Management with an emphasis on finance and healthcare, where she is also a Brown Private Equity Fellow. Prior to Anderson, she was a Senior Associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers, working in the Financial Services Assurance group on various audit and compliance projects in the healthcare insurance sector.

Celeste Vargas

Celeste is a full-time student at UCLA from San Diego, CA, who joined the Technology
Development Group in May 2022. She is currently working on her undergraduate degree in
Statistics with a minor in Cognitive Science. She is a Research Assistant for Research,
Assessment, and Evaluation. After her earning her Bachelor’s degree, Celeste is interested in
pursuing a career in Data Science

Clincy Cheung

Clincy Cheung is a Ph.D. candidate in Materials Science and Engineering at UCLA. His thesis research is focused on hetero-integration of GaN-based mm-wave electronic materials and is concurrently on an internship assignment with Northrop Grumman in Redondo Beach, CA. Clincy is interested in technologies that make public infrastructure and private industry more efficient, likes to read policy papers, and invests in publicly traded equities in his leisure time.
