Paul Grijalva

Paul Grijalva joined UCLA TDG in January 2024 as Assistant Director of Contracts.  Prior to UCLA, Paul served in legal roles in higher education and the private sector.  Paul was the first dedicated contracts attorney for the University of Miami, starting its Contract Administration Department.  He also oversaw a team of research contract negotiators at the University of Arizona.  Paul has also served as in house counsel at Canyon Ranch, one of the preeminent wellness resorts.  Additionally, Paul has advised start up companies as outside general counsel, advising in all aspects from formation to intellectual property matters.

Paul is a licensed attorney and received his LL.M in Intellectual Property from Santa Clara University.
