Natasha Radovsky
Natasha Radovsky is an accomplished legal executive with extensive experience in intellectual property (IP), corporate contracting, software, and mergers and acquisitions (M&A). She has a passion for working on disruptive technological innovations that require creative and proactive legal guidance.
Prior to joining UCLA Technology Development Group as a Sr. Director of Contracts, Natasha worked as a Sr. Legal Counsel in the Legal Department at Pegasystems in Cambridge, MA, where she led, drafted, negotiated, and executed complex commercial transactions. Her expertise included software licenses (SaaS), master services agreements, joint development, data privacy, intellectual property, and cloud service agreements. Natasha collaborated closely with engineering, operations, development, and sales teams to provide legal support on software and technology development, IP licenses, resale and sourcing strategy, and supplier relationships.
Before joining Pegasystems, Natasha worked in the Office of The General Counsel at Boeing Global Services. During her tenure, she advised and collaborated with internal teams across multiple functions, including engineering, IT, sales and business development, supply chain, corporate strategy, and professional services. Natasha excelled in leading, drafting, negotiating, and executing complex technology commercial transactions, covering a wide range of areas such as new product development and sale, cloud computing, technology and software licenses, IoT, SaaS, AI, vendor and supplier agreements, distribution agreements, joint development agreements, sponsorship agreements, collaboration agreements, consulting agreements, and M&A agreements. Her contributions played a vital role in driving business growth and promoting innovation within the organization. Natasha also provided strategic advice on IP ownership, protection, and leverage, and she successfully led the drafting and execution of IP licenses, sales, and acquisitions aligned with the company's strategic objectives.
In addition, Natasha served as the Director of Global Intellectual Property Licensing at Boeing. During this period, she launched the Global Technology Licensing organization, generating substantial annual revenues by commercializing intellectual property, software, technology, and copyright in new markets. Natasha's responsibilities included drafting, negotiating, and executing patent, technology, and software licenses with leading global companies. She also managed a variety of joint development and collaboration agreements, formed alliances, and negotiated M&A transactions.
Natasha's experience extends to her role as Sr. Contracts Manager in Business Development & Sales at Cisco Systems/Linksys. In this position, she demonstrated her expertise in leading the drafting and negotiation of technology license transactions with key accounts, including Time Warner, Bell Canada, Verizon, and Gateway Computers. Natasha's contributions were instrumental in securing favorable agreements and driving business success.
Natasha's experience in the academic sector includes her roles as Sr. Technology Licensing Officer at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and as a Technology Licensing Officer at the University of California, Irvine (UCI). During her tenure at UCLA, she was responsible for the commercialization of Physical Sciences/Engineering and Life Sciences Intellectual Property.
Natasha holds a JD and she is a licensed attorney with the California State Bar. Additionally, she earned an MBA from the University of California, Irvine. Natasha's educational background includes an MS in Physics and Engineering as well as a BS in Mathematics and Computer Sciences from Ukrainian State University in Kiev, Ukraine.
