AIEI supports the intentional and inclusive diffusion of AI, informed by rigorous research and scholarly discourse. The program seeks to accelerate understanding of how GenAI is transforming productivity, labor markets, and workforce development. It emphasizes identifying drivers and barriers to GenAI adoption and providing actionable insights for policymakers, educators, employers, and workers. Research themes include the impact of AI on entry-level jobs, K-12 teaching, and opportunities for community, technical, and vocational colleges. |
