Christopher Sue joined UCLA TDG in October 2019 as a Technology Development Fellow. Working under the Business Development Associates, he has drafted dozens of non-confidential disclosures pamphlets and conducted market research on a diverse set of intellectual properties. Christopher currently is working as a Senior Technology Development Fellow helping to train new Fellows and develop innovative and new marketing strategies for UCLA TDG. He has a B.S. in Chemistry from Westmont College located in Santa Barbara and is currently a Ph.D. candidate at UCLA in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry (expected graduation 2022), doing research in the field of Chemical Biology. His research is focused on the development of novel protein-protein ligation methods to expand the biochemical toolbox and in the study of bacterial pathogenesis to develop novel antibacterial drugs.
