Michael Dal Bello
Mr. Michael A. Dal Bello is an Investment Partner of Healthcare at Pritzker Group Private Capital. He is the President, since July 2014 and Director of Healthcare Private Equity Association. Mr. Dal Bello is a part of the healthcare investment team and leads the firm's healthcare sector investing. Previously, he served as the Managing Director The Blackstone Group, Private Equity Group. Mr. Dal Bello focused on investments in the healthcare, insurance and professional services industries. He joined Blackstone in 2002. During his tenure at Blackstone, he helped lead sourcing efforts in healthcare and insurance, investing more than $7 billion of equity capital in 13 transactions. Mr. Dal Bello also served on ten Corporate Boards, working with management teams to drive value through operational improvements, acquisitions and divestitures. He served as an Associate at Hellman & Friedman LLC, where he was involved with the analysis and execution of private equity investments in the media and professional services sectors. Mr. Dal Bello was a Strategic Consultant at Bain & Company, Inc. He was a Research Associate at the China Center for Economic Research. Mr. Dal Bello has been a Director of Vanguard Health Systems Inc. since September 23, 2004 and also serves as a Representative Director of Health Finance Corp. He serves as a Director of Biomet 3i, LLC. Mr. Dal Bello served as a Director of Sithe Global Power, LLC and Alliant Insurance Services, Inc. He served as a Director of Emdeon Inc., from November 2011 to November 21, 2013. Mr. Dal Bello served as a Director of Catalent Pharma Solutions, Inc. since April 2007. Mr. Dal Bello served as a Director of Apria Healthcare Group Inc., from October 2008 to 2013. He served as a Director of Team Health Holdings, Inc., from November 2005 to March 6, 2013. Mr. Dal Bello served on the Advisory Board of the Youth Advocacy Center in New York. He served as a Director of LVB Acquisition, Inc. and Biomet Inc., since July 2007 until February 14, 2014. Mr. Dal Bello received an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School in 2002. He was selected as a Thouron Scholar to attend Oxford University where he received an M.A. in Oxon, Philosophy, Politics and Economics in 1995. Mr. Dal Bello received a B.A. in International Relations and a B.S. in Finance in 1993 from the Wharton School and the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Pennsylvania where he graduated summa cum laude and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He is also studied from Peking University in 1996.
