3 UCLA faculty members named to National Academy of Inventors

Congratulations to UCLA professors Eric Pei-Yu Chiou, Paul Weiss, and Xiangfeng Duan who have been elected as Fellows of the National Academy of Inventors, the highest professional distinction accorded solely to academic inventors. They will be formally inducted and presented with medals in a special ceremony held by the National Academy of Inventors June 2024 in Raleigh, North Carolina.

UCLA is now home to 23 NAI Fellows, according to the National Academy of Inventors website.
